We’ve all been there! You make yourself a stack of delicious, fluffy pancakes and you’ve run out of syrup!
What’s a girl to do?!
I’ve got a sweet solution: Home Made Pancake Syrup.
Way to be a problem solver! Sometimes the answer to our problems is right under our noses or hiding in the pantry. Don’t let these little bumps be a barrier to your next right step. Sometimes it takes a little intuition and a lot of imagination to resolve the problem you are facing today.
I’m always here if you need me friends. So if you have a problem you need to solve in the kitchen, let me know in the comments below. I would love to help you brain storm a solution. Who knows, it could be the inspiration for my next video!
Cheers to you and me cooking fearlessly!

Pancake Syrup Recipe:
Courtesy of Joy The Baker
- 1 Cup of Water
- 1 ½ Cups Brown Sugar
- ¼ Cup of Orange juice- preferably fresh, but store bought works too. Use what you’ve got, I’ll never tell!
- 1 Tbs Vanilla Extract
- ¼ tsp salt
Place a 2 quart sauce pan over medium heat. Add to it one cup of water, a cup and a half of brown sugar, a quarter cup of orange juice and a quarter teaspoon of salt. Stir these ingredients together and bring it to a boil. Allow the mixture to boil till it’s reduced to a syrupy texture. It will reduce down to a cup and a half. This will take about twelve to fifteen minutes. When it reaches the syrup stage, remove pan from the heat and stir in a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Allow it to cool slightly…be careful, hot sugar is not something to be messed with. It’s HOT! When the syrup is warm, it’s time to pour it all over your pancakes.
